Tempera on watercolor paper A true artist forces you to change your perspective on a particular concept. O' Keefe was a great example of this using arbitrary, simple and subtle beauty to capture the viewer. How do you get people to see what they normally do not? Put it in their face! Make it scream! Try to get as close as you can without losing ANY information regarding texture, content, context, form, shape etc. and you've accomplished what few have already. This is an example of the lesson.
